About
Tara Greenwood is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. Tara received her Associate in Nursing from New Mexico State University in Alamogordo, New Mexico. She then obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Eastern New Mexico University. Tara began her career in healthcare as a telemetry nurse. She was drawn to labor and delivery and women’s health. She continued to increase her skills by exploring other areas of nursing to include case management and transitions of care. Seeing the unique challenges that rural patients faced led her to increase her knowledge and become a Family Practice Nurse Practitioner. As a practitioner she has served patients as a field practitioner and most recently in primary care. Tara believes that every patient deserves respect and compassion on their journey to optimal health.
Tara grew up in Alamogordo and is passionate about her community. She enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and pets. She loves exploring the mountains, gardening, and traveling. She is excited for the opportunity to serve National Sinus Institute patients.
