About
Stefany Delascurain was born in Mexico but grew up in Central Texas. She earned her bachelor’s degree at the University of Texas at Austin, concentrating in Human Development and Family Sciences. After working for years in the medical field, she wanted to expand her knowledge and practice within medicine and pursued her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies at the University of Alabama in Birmingham, graduating in 2017.
Prior to relocating to Albuquerque, Stefany practiced in Gastroenterology. Over the past 5 years, she treated a comprehensive range of diseases and complex ailments. Through all her experiences in medicine, Stefany enjoys working with her patients in the clinical setting to build a connection through communication while working to improve their quality of life.
Stefany is an active member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. She is fluent in Spanish.
Outside of practicing medicine, she enjoys spending time with her husband, running, hiking with her two dogs, and learning to ski. She also enjoys the vast landscapes and seasons that New Mexico has to offer and is excited to explore the national parks in the area.
Stefany is excited to join the National Sinus Institute team in Albuquerque and provide the highest quality of care for our Ear, Nose, and Throat patients.
