Joe Tumalad, CNP

Joe Tumalad is a Certified Nurse Practitioner that provides care to our National Sinus Institute patients in New Mexico clinics.

Joe grew up in North Houston. He received his Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Phoenix University and received his Masters degree in Science and Family Nurse Practitioner degree at the Frontier University.

Prior to joining NSI, Joe’s background includes working in the emergency room and urgent care providing care to all populations including pediatrics and adults. Joe sold his Champions Urgent Care business in Houston to move to Alamogordo, New Mexico.

Joe enjoys hiking, carpentry, playing golf, and traveling. He teaches BLS and ACLS for the American Heart Association and has done so for the last 20 years. He also likes volunteering his free time to the Lion’s club in Texas.

Joe is excited to be part of the National Sinus Institute to help serve those needing Ear, Nose, and Throat specialty care and working to improve each person’s overall quality of life.
