About
Dr. Jay Homewood, a proud native of Mesa, AZ, began his journey in medicine at Brigham Young University, where he graduated Cum Laude with a degree in Neuroscience. He continued his education at the Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine, where he graduated in the top 1% of his class.
Following medical school, Dr. Homewood completed his residency in Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery at St. Elizabeth Boardman Hospital in Youngstown, Ohio. Now, driven by his desire to serve the community he calls home, Dr. Homewood is excited to return to the desert and provide comprehensive ENT care to the people of San Tan Valley.
Dr. Homewood’s clinical interests span a wide spectrum, with particular expertise in sinus disease and allergy management, pediatric ENT care, sleep disorders, and the treatment of conditions affecting the thyroid, parathyroid, and salivary glands. He employs a patient-centered approach, tailoring treatment plans to meet the unique needs and preferences of each individual under his care.
Fluent in Spanish, Dr. Homewood values clear and effective communication with all his patients, regardless of their background or language preference. Beyond his medical practice, he and his family can often be found exploring the outdoors with their two children and beloved Australian shepherds. Mountain biking, skiing and boating are some of their favorite activities.
Dr. Homewood is deeply committed to the well-being of his patients and the community at large, and he looks forward to establishing a robust ENT practice known for its dedication to excellence in patient care and its positive impact on the local community.
