About
Jacqueline Benavidez is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. Jacqueline received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of New Mexico. She continued her education graduating from Simmons University in Boston, Massachusetts, earning her Master of Science in Nursing.
Jacqueline began her career in healthcare as a Subacute Care Nurse at the University of New Mexico Hospital in 2010. Here she cared for a variety of patients including those with telemetry, wound care and complex illnesses. 5 years later, she expanded her clinical knowledge by specializing as a Labor and Delivery nurse. There she gained experience in management of fetal well-being, triage, the operating room, postpartum and immediate newborn care over the course of 7 years, obtaining a national certification in Inpatient Obstetric Nursing.
Jacqueline enjoys spending time with family, traveling, and spending summers on the lake. She is personable and dedicated to the well-being of patients. She is excited to specialize in Ear, Nose and Throat care with the National Sinus Institute.
