About
Hannah Karsten is a board-certified physician assistant. She grew up in Cave Creek, AZ and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from Arizona State University. She then attended University of St. Francis in Albuquerque, NM, graduating with a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies. While attending school in Albuquerque, she fell in love with the landscape and culture of New Mexico, deciding to stay in New Mexico to start her career.
After graduating, she enjoyed working as a primary care physician assistant in Santa Fe, NM, before deciding to serve the communities of Los Alamos, Espanola, and Albuquerque through the National Sinus Institute. She is excited to specialize in ear, nose, and throat and help improve the quality of life of many of her patients suffering from allergies and sinus problems.
Prior to her education as a physician assistant, she had experience working in emergency medicine and volunteered to provide healthcare to rural communities in Nicaragua.
Hannah enjoys traveling, hiking, backpacking, horseback riding, snowboarding, and cooking. You can usually find her enjoying the outdoors on her days off.
