Gregg Schmedes, MD specializes in general ENT ranging from hearing loss to sinus care and from tonsils and ear problems.
Dr. Schmedes earned his bachelor’s degree at the University of Texas, majoring in electrical engineering. He also ran track and field for the Longhorns. He then attended medical school at Texas Tech University where he was president of his class.
Living in Tijeras with his wife, Kelly and their eight children, the Schmedes are active members of their local church in Cedar Crest.
Before moving to Albuquerque the family spent 2 years in Cameroon, Africa with Samaritan’s purse, where Dr. Schmedes taught the next generation of African surgeons.
